Basement conversion in back to back house in Armley, Leeds
Back to back houses are common in Yorkshire, as even with the limited space in their basements, a good usable space can be created.
We created an additional bedroom in the house by converting the basement using an overall floor area of 16m2. Well converted space works well, and looks good.
Designer's comments:Where space is limited, every bit has to count. It's important to think about elements such as lighting, windows and getting all pipes and wires hidden to get a quality look.
